I seem to vaguely remember a shot in the first ninety seconds where some cartoon Cylon-ish type robots were depicted, but then Seven-of-Nine... er... I mean... the "new" Cylon showed up and started trying to cause trouble. The new 'Galactica' is easily the best Sci-Fi series I've ever seen, because it puts the characters in tough, morally-ambiguous circumstances, where they always have to reevaluate their alliances. So the characters are actually free to act like interesting, flawed human beings. Unlike the bland 'We are the world' losers on all of those goofy-assed Star Trek shows. Except for Robert Picardo as the Doctor. I always had a soft spot for Voyager. 'Galactica is way more suspenseful, and way more relevant as a metaphor for our times, than Star Trek has probably ever been. (I'm half black/half white alien!
